I haven't felt inspired today, so I'm posting a sonnet from my currently inactive Daily Sonnet Blog.
You’re excited to be a new recruit
It seems much better than handing out fries
You’re even encouraged to vandalize
Starts out easy like refusing grapefruit
But soon you’ll have to be very astute
Since the skateboarder seems to have no eyes
Before too long you will start to realize
It’s the world’s most dangerous paper route
Beware of dog and avoid the parked car
Make sure to make mostly accurate throws
While dodging the Reaper and tornadoes
And other things that seem very bizarre
Don’t count on obtaining much cash to spend
Odds are that you’ll quit before the weekend
